We asked wonderful Ex-TEDxDonauinsel speaker Emma Holten for an interview. Read here how her life has changed since her talk at TEDxDonauinsel 2015:
TEDxDonauinsel: So Emma, how did your project develop since your TEDx talk?
Emma: There’s been so much to work on! I’ve talked at conferences in France, Spain and Germany, as well as written extensively on the top. I’m still very passionate about online rights and the right to consent!
TEDxDonauinsel: What was the best thing that has happened to you after your talk?
Emma: So many things. I think the most important one is to get out and talk to other victims of online consent violations and hear their stories, and feel that my work matters to them.
TEDxDonauinsel: Well, you know, this year´s TEDxDonauinsel Event Make Your Choice will take place on 5th of June. If you could nominate any person as a speaker for the TEDxDonauinsel event, who would that be and why?
Emma: Difficult! So many smart people. I think Haifaa Awad, a Danish-Syrian doctor living in Denmark, would be my choice!
TEDxDonauinsel: Thinking about making choices, what was your biggest choice you had to make?
Emma: Shortening everything down for my TEDx talk! I had 15 ideas I wanted to communicate, but I decided that focussing on one made for the best talk.
TEDxDonauinsel: And last: What ́s your all-time favorite TED talk? 🙂
Emma: I really like Reshma Saujani!
