1. Subject of the Terms and Conditions and Organizer

(1) The organizer of this giveaway is TEDxDonauinsel.
(2) By participating in the giveaway, these terms and conditions are accepted.
(3) This giveaway is in no way connected to Instagram/META and is neither sponsored, supported, nor organized by Instagram/META.

2. Participation

(1) The giveaway is open to all individuals who are 18 years or older and reside in Austria. Participation with fake identities or third-party identities is not permitted.
(2) Eligible participants can enter the giveaway by liking (“♥️”) the giveaway post and keeping their like until the winners are selected.
(3) Additionally, a companion must be tagged in the comments.
(4) The deadline for participation is March 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

3. Prizes and Winner Notification

(1) Among all eligible participants, we will raffle 2×2 tickets.
(2) Winners will be selected randomly after the participation deadline.
(3) Each participant can win only once.

4. Disqualification

(1) Any violation of these terms and conditions entitles us to disqualify the respective participant from the giveaway. This applies especially in cases of false information or the use of photos or content (e.g., comments) that violate applicable laws or the rights of third parties. The same applies to comments that are deemed violent, offensive, harassing, or degrading, or that otherwise violate general standards of decency.
(2) If a disqualified participant has already been drawn as a winner, the prize may be revoked retroactively.

5. Early Termination and Changes

We reserve the right to terminate or modify the giveaway at any time, in whole or in part, without notice if technical (e.g., computer viruses, manipulation, software/hardware errors) or legal reasons (e.g., restrictions imposed by Facebook) prevent the proper execution of the giveaway.

6. Data Protection

We are responsible for the collection, processing, and use of participants’ personal data, provided we process it ourselves. Personal data will only be used in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
The data will be stored, processed, and used only to the extent necessary for conducting the giveaway or where participants have given their consent. This also includes using the data for the exercise of granted usage rights. After the giveaway is completed, the data will be deleted.

7. Final Provisions

(1) If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
(2) Austrian law applies. Legal recourse regarding the outcome of the giveaway is excluded.
